The Counseling Center is funded primarily by student registration fees so we are not able to provide clinical services to faculty and staff on a regular basis.

As a service to the campus community, the Counseling Center is available in a crisis situation to help assess needs and make referrals for personal counseling on a limited basis. In addition, the Counseling Center provides consultation to faculty and staff about distressed and distressing students.

Faculty and staff who are seeking assistance for their own personal mental health needs may contact the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by ComPsych Guidance Resources, at (844) 824-3723. It provides 24/7 access through a network of licensed specialists, including multilingual counselors. For more information, please see this announcement.

Faculty and staff enrolled in a medical plan may also access non-emergency counseling services through their UC behavioral health plan. In mental health emergency situations, always call 9-1-1 for assistance. The former Faculty and Staff Counseling Center closed on July 18th.
