Online Mental Health Screenings

The Counseling Center has linked to two valuable online screening programs that can help you with assessing your level of functioning and provide you with some informational mental health resources.

ULifeLine is an anonymous online resource for college mental health where you can find excellent self-assessment tools, and fact sheets on mental health.  Additionally, ULifeLine sponsors the HalfofUs web site which has videos and blogs from celebrities on mental health issues.

College Resources’ Online Mental Health Screening Program is designed for students to provide free, anonymous screenings for depression, anxiety problems, eating disorders, and alcohol problems.  These screening tools can help you decide if meeting with a therapist might be helpful.

While online screenings and readings can provide you with important information, sometimes the best thing that they do is to direct you toward seeing a mental health professional.
