***At this time the University of California, Irvine Counseling Center is not accepting applications for a 2017-2018 Postdoctoral Fellow position in professional psychology.***
The Postdoctoral Fellow position provides a range of counseling and psychological services with an emphasis on multicultural counseling and issues of social justice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the delivery of individual, couples and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, case management, and intake assessments. Fellows will also actively participate in weekly case disposition meetings, center committees, and provided campus-based outreach and consultation.
This is a 10.5 month position beginning August 15, 2015. The annual salary is $40,000 including full benefits. According to University of California policies, this fellowship is considered a sensitive position and requires completion of a successful background check prior to the start date.
Preference is given to applicants who have completed an APA accredited internship and APA accredited doctoral program in counseling or clinical psychology by the start date.
